What’s in the Gut Health Protocol?
One bottle of 60 mastic powder capsules (500 mg each) and one Klassiko tin of mastic nuggets. That’s enough capsules to run the full 20-day protocol, with the tin of gum to chew alongside it.
Does it help with H. pylori?
Human trials have shown that mastic gum can inhibit H. pylori and improve related symptoms when used consistently over a minimum of two weeks.
Can I open the capsule?
Yes. You can open the capsule and mix the powder into a small amount of water, juice, or a soft food like yogurt if you’d rather not swallow capsules.
The taste is resinous and slightly bitter on its own, so pairing it with something neutral or lightly flavored usually works best.

How do I follow the protocol?
For the 20-day reset, take one capsule three times a day, ideally 30 minutes before meals on an empty stomach, with plenty of water. Chew a nugget after meals to ease reflux and settle digestion. After 20 days, drop to two capsules a day, morning and night, to maintain. If you’re new to mastic, start with one capsule a day and build up.

What will I notice, and when?

Is it safe for people with allergies?
The capsules are two ingredients: pure mastic powder in a plant-based capsule shell. They're free of all 14 major allergens, including nuts, gluten, soy, and dairy, and packed in clean facilities with no cross-contamination.
The mastic tree is related to the pistachio, which sometimes worries people with nut allergies. Resin isn't nut protein, and there are no documented cases of a nut-allergic person reacting to mastic.
